Hi, i promised my mom to fix get computer, and i have a small problem... Whenever i try to install windows xp it says that some file is corupt and it comes up with some kind of blue screen of death, whenever i try to install something about windows XP then it just doesn't load the installation files, i don't know what's wrong. ah yes it does fit windows xp requirements, i'll try again tommorow but i still need help if anyone can indentify the problem... the computer is costumly made

Did you format the drive before installing XP? If so I would suspect the XP disk has a scratch or finger print on it. Perhaps someone else will have some other ideas.

As I recall, I had this EXACT same problem a long long time ago after re-formatting. I don't remember what the solution was, but I'll dig through my old notes.

When is it getting these blue-screens? Is it during the first part of the install? after the first reboot? Second reboot?
What exactly is the error.. 0x000000## (########, ########, ########, ########)

Does your home system need specific raid drivers?
