Default Internet Explorer Problem?

Hi all!

Wonder if anyone can enlighten me!
My work laptop won't let me open more than one explorer at a time.
When one is open and I open another the page just persists to say connecting and then not responding. Its a real pain.
Can anyone offer me any help? Something in the settings maybe that
I need to change??

You might want to give Firefox a try:
Get Firefox

Hmmm... I'd try using Fire-Fox one more time, I've never had much problems with it. Had a slight problem simular to yours, but I really didnt do anything to fix it. I just uninstalled my firefox, and reinstalled it. Maybe that may fix it? Not so sure.

Will give that a try! I just wondered if it was to do with settings but it may be worth doing as you say and try uninstalling and reinstalling. I should of thought of that.

Cheers!!!!

Ok just done it and still same. I can open a new tab via hotmail, i.e the link to the forum but if i go to start and then Internet explorer it just won't connect or Ctrl+T for a new tab.
Just about to pop out but will return to my little mystery later.

Thankyou Ash! xJC! and all.

What version of IE are you using and what os? In IE 7 you go to Tools/Internet Option and on the General Tab you will find Settings for how tabs are displayed.

Why won't IE work you ask?

well Microsoft sends out a bug to make you up grade to the latest version of IE, they count the downloads and they say we're so good, look how many downloads

Just my personal opinion, can you tell i dislike Microsoft...he he
