| I had similar problems with HD Audio, but I got it sorted. Did you download and install the MS-provided driver first?

| In november on my personal machine , but ive used it at church for over a year |

| When i started the beta, and after the official release, I have yet to have a BSoD. It's stable in and of itself. This is if you have hardware that can handle it. If your system is "compatible" or questionable, you can expect to have problems with drivers, causing BSoD's. MS has been in hot water for their Vista Capable and Vista Ready confusing/misleading advertising. |

| The hardware, yes, but did the manufacturer make the drivers properly. Think Whql stuff for XP. Some manufacturers will provide a driver for their hardware, but not have it go through the certification process. Sometimes it is GREAT, others it is questionable. Vista by itself is rather stable. The drivers (which was my point), are not always as stable w/ vista. Thus, causing some Blue Screens. Other than that if the hardware is bad (yes even NEW stuff sometimes is bad), it will Blue Screen . |
