Default display problem

i just received my new 32" monitor/tv from amazon.

anyway, it is widescreen, and i have on a resolution of 1360 x 768. i was trying to adjust the settings (font size...), and i went to desktop, right clicked to properties, but nothing happened (the display thing didn't appear). i tried again, but all that happens, is that my arrow shows a sand timer (for loading), and then it just stops.

please help, i need to change the size of my text...

thanks

sounds strange. so you cant get the display properties window at all when u right click on the desktop? have you tried going into the display properties through control panel? try that and see if you can get to it that way. i dont know what else to suggest, maybe another member has some ideas
