Default Logoff

Hey... i need some help.. my computer is slow at logoff. i have a celeron processor 2.93 ghz cpu 248 mb of ram.. now without buying anything is there anything i could do to like the registry or something that would make if logoff faster?

1) make sure you are not loading a lot of unnecessary processes. (several steps here)
2) make sure everything is closed before you log off
3) try a registry cleaner/optimizer (registry medic is one i've been happy to purchase)

4) this one will cost.. Get more RAM! that will make the whole system faster overall. Ram is cheap. My little bro just bought a gig for $20 for his laptop (he missed the sale and missed getting 2 gig for $30)

yes , that ammount of ram is horribly low ... id reccomend 512 mb or more , but heck for a stick of cheap 1gb ( 1024mb) it can be found for less than 20 dollars

Try Defraging the computer sometimes that helps. Also run a registry cleaner to clean up dead files in the registry.
