Default simple Windwos xp pro short cut question

Ok as most of you know i know my way at hardware but i am lacking in software

I have windows xp media center ed 2005 32 bit ( based of pro )

How do i get the little short cuts say for internet and programs in the start bar next to the start button ( not on the menu it self but on the toolbar type thing) ?

Right click on your taskbar. Select properties. Under the taskbar tab, there should be a section labeled "Taskbar Appearance." Check the last option in that section called "Show Click Launch." Then you should be good to go.

To avoid confusion, it's quick launch, not click.

You normally have the option to add a quick launch Icon when you first install a program.


To add more stuff, just drag the icon onto the Quick launch panel.
