I cant wait to see 7... if Microsoft messes this one up... i dont see them coming out very well, especally with bill gone now.

Remember, MS fired their CIO this last week. Something about Not adhering to company policies. While not directly involved with the development of Windows OS, it is still management for the company, which negatively reflects on the company.

Well its been some 6 months now i have been running vista HP on the third lounge room computer,and its the 6th install! i kept changing to bigger HDD(3 times) or mobo/processors(3 times). Now im used to the process,allowing vista to update(though it gets original vista updates,with nvidia and haigpagen it was not latest).

I like vista so much now(apart from the uea...forgot name, the anti virus type thing that always pops up when installing) its Better for what i use it for.MCE.

windows media centre is almost flawless,always records,turns PC on and off,can do defrags and basically keep the system running.

at this stage, i'd give it a 8/10, when i first got it i almost took it back! u just need to get ur head around navigating it.

new system:
AMD 4400,4 gig ram,2*403gig HDD,haigpagen twin HD TV,wirelesslan, MCE keyboard and remote.

Lightbulb power vista - xp

I've heard that Vista requires more power than XP. I guess this is possible, eh?!

So they're already making a new OS even though Vista hasn't been out for very long? Maybe they released Vista to screw us over and make us really look forward to their next OS.

What I hate is you just get used to a system and then they come out with a new one you have to spend more money tinker around with it getting everything to run well then out comes another one oh well I liked my old windows 2000.

MS is the drug pusher of the OS world.... You don't have enough OS... they'll give you a hit, but just a hit. Can't get a complete fix till they are darn good and ready.

If MS does get a new OS, and Vista stays the way it is...Then I'm going to be first in line for a class action lawsuit against Microsoft(219 for the software, 10million pain and suffering)

Ive Been Testing Vista for Around A Month now, and i agree that they have done a crap job on it, i would advise anyone to get XP.

I think the only reason they Made Vista, was because they are loseing sales to MAC, and also Windows Created this, cause of the Security Aspects. Its harder to Make Crack Copies, as it has the 30 Day Security Useage.

Ive enjoyed my Time with Vista, but im annoyed that so many programmes fail within the useage of Vista.

Im looking forward to the New Windows Vienna or Windows 7.

Lee =)
