I bought a dell pc a month ago and completely detest Vista and i want XP back. I have an XP Pro CD and the product key, ive looked at many forums to try and see what is best to do, ive tried the virtual PC thing and it just isnt the same, id rather have XP only on my PC. I have the Vista disc aswell when more is out for vista i will return vista but not yet. I have partitioned my drive using Vista and every time i try to boot XP from the CD it loads everything up from the cd but when it tries to load XP the screen goes blue and the error message is something along the lines of, 'windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer' and 'if this is the first time you've seen this message restart your computer otherwise.........'

Any ideas people coz im stumped!!!!!
