Ok so i forgot my pasword for windows 2000 and i have got windows xp on the same computer. Is there any way i could get my password back or change it by using windows xp (remeber i have both windows xp and windows 2000 on the same computer)

You probably won't be able to recover the password while booted into XP - you'll need to use a boot disk. Does your computer have a floppy drive and/or CD burner?

Yes it does have a floppy drive. but i dont know if i have a cd burner.

Try this:
Offline NT Password & Registry Editor

The site often mentions Windows NT, but it works for all NT-based versions of Windows [including 2K]
