Thumbs up Intro to Win XP -- Free Course [PART TWO]

PLEASE DON'T POST TO THIS THREAD UNLESS YOU HAVE READ THE COURSE

This is the second part of a 2-part Series titled: Microsoft Windows XP Fundamentals. This Course has been designed by Vicon Learning Systems and is free. It is recommended that you download and read Part-1 (Intro to PC's) of this series prior to reading this second part. Part-2 builds upon Part-1.

Even for us older/experienced "techies" who think we know all there is, Part-2 of this course is a fantastic refresher (trust me, I've been there!!!).

For the individual who is just learning Microsoft Windows XP, you're in store for a wonderful learning experience -- I wish I had found this couse prior to my transition from Windows 98 to Windows XP, as it would have made the transition much more smoothly.

It's distributed here at CompuForums at the bottom of this Post. The Course is in PDF format in a ZIP archive.

To download, you must first register as a Member.

Part-2 of this course consists of 14 Lessons, has Learning Review/Skills tests at the end of each chapter, and spans more than 225 pages. It's download size is 2.62 MB in PDF/ZIP format.

Lessons & Topics include:
=====================================
Lesson 01 -- Learning the Basics
Lesson 02 -- Exploring Windows Features
Lesson 03 -- Using Programs
Lesson 04 -- Working With Views and Toolbars
Lesson 05 -- Organizing Files and Folders
Lesson 06 -- Working With Multiple Windows
Lesson 07 -- Using the Search Companion
Lesson 08 -- Using the Desktop and Recycle Bin
Lesson 09 -- Working With Printers and Hardware
Lesson 10 -- Customizing the Display
Lesson 11 -- Using the Start Menu
Lesson 12 -- Using the Taskbar
Lesson 13 -- Using Accessories
Lesson 14 -- Using Accounts and Shutting Down
=====================================

For someone needing to learn the fundamentals, and a few advanced features, of Microsoft Windows XP, this is the course for you. I hope it may be of help, and its a pleasure to share it with the CompuFourms Community.
