| Hi hiiiieverybody, Welcome to CompuForums! It's great that you have chosen to become a valued member of our community. I hope that you can visit our community and post often. You might want to edit your entry on the member map, unless you live in the middle of the sea It would make it easier for us to diagnose the problem if you could provide us with more information. Can you explain what you mean by " i dont know wat to do when the command bar pops up"? Also when you turn on the computer, exactly what does it do and when does it fail to load? Before or after the Windows 2000 logo has appeared? And does it show any messages on the screen at all?

| Can you confirm that the computer does actually have Windows 2000 installed and/or a working hard drive? Are you comfortable changing your BIOS settings?

| Okay, when you turn on the computer do you see a message stating "Hit Del to enter setup", "Press F1 for setup", or "Press Esc for Boot menu"? It could be any key mentioned but a similar phrase.

| Well since the blue screen appears even after taking these steps, I would say that it's very likely that the hard drive is causing the problem - or it may just be corrupt. Is there any data you want to keep that's on the drive, and/or do you have a copy of 2000 or XP on hand? How's your experience with installing Windows?
