About six month ago my brother downloaded a Beta of Windows Vista.
I don't know where he got it but I got him to put it on a DVD for me.
When he downloaded it it took about 2 hrs because the file was 3 Gb.

Windows Vista is not to different from XP, Vista has a different theme and It has some more programs but I don't think you will have to learn anything new.

I agree - I know it isn't the final product, but when I tried it I found the best feature was the option to revert back to XP when the first time I installed it, it failed. Yes, a new interface, and some pretty graphics - and over-the-top security, but I prefer XP. Vista just seems to me like XP, with a new skin and lots of bells and whistles. Of course, all those extra graphical things just bog it down - and if you are running your computer on a battery, shorten battery life.
