What do you think is/was the worst version of Windows OS?

For me it was Windows ME and 98.. they are both equal!

They would crash all the time and the dreaded blue screen of death happened to me on a daily basis :sad:

Windows ME. I put up for it for about three years, and it only works properley for about two weeks after a reformat. It created it's own problems!

Windows ME AWFUL, SHOCKING, GOD DAMN DISPICABLE BLE BLE!
I had it for about a week and went right back to NT4, later I got 2000 Pro and XP eventually.

But Vista Beta is pretty awful too, the Start Menu style is so annoying, why cant it just expand to the right like any other version of windows.

To be honest just get Linux or a Mac, I love my Mac it is so good, it makes me horny with stability and it looks good too. Get a Mac, ditch i386, for servers get SPARC, ditch i386. Long live Linux, Solaris and Unix, and OS9/X... lol

Windows ME .. ME = mostdefinat excrement =P

98's good. Never used ME though.

Definately Window ME... It start hanging with in 10 after first installation... Even Windows 98 is also Unstable..but not as much as Windows ME.

Windows 95 and 98 did not work for me.

ME.... enough said.

In my opinion, and experience, it is definitely Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (ME). It is aweful, and garbage.

yeah ME was pretty bad, i used to have an old IBM Thinkpad 500 (ancient thing) and it came with ME (got it at a big supersale at the Pontiac Silverdome) and i dont care what you would do on it you would get the blue screen of death, even closing and opening the lid... even after reformatting...
