| Okay, I have 2 mysql databases. 1 for a forum, and 1 for a wiki type thing. I want it so you can login to the wiki using the same information from the forum. So if I'm right, I need to link the forum username table with the wiki username table? I have a basic knowledge of this stuff.. but yeahh, I don't really trust myself Thanks in advice, Jam

| Usually you use a special mod for the forum software that you are running to link the two ip.

| The forum is a mybb forum |
| ||||
| Yeah thats right, a Mybb forum, and the Media Wiki package. I need it so only members of the forum are allowed to change the wiki. I had a go at it myself, but messed everything up. Lucky i kept a backup Thanks, Jam

| I would make it so you still have to seperate databases, but the two scripts, when ran have an include PHP file so that when the user logs in to one it updates the fields on the other, so the user has two entries, one on each bit of software but when they update or register both databases update. Maybe I could write an example for you if you wanted.
