I know in this world that you dont get something for nothing, but i wondered if any of you have come across anyone that offers the following. Free Domain name (not a subdomain i.e. yoursite.freewebs.com) that also offer hosting free aswell. I thought maybe there were a company that offered this in exchange for putting adverts on your site. I dont even really need a site, just one page would suffice. Its for a coursework project and also i dont have a credit or debit card to even be able to pay for such a service. I would if i could! So if you know of anything like this please let me know. Thanks in advance. JustinGH

The only free domains that you can get realistically are .co.nr, .uni.cc and .tk. .co.nr and .uni.cc require a small button on your site, and .tk plasters quite a few ads on your site. Everyone has to pay for domains.

I can offer free web hosting in exchange for a couple of ads on the site or referring clients to us.
