im having some trouble and im wondering if anybody who uses phpbb3 can help me. i want to add things like different scripts and different languages and also ranks like on this site to my forum, for the members, unfortunatley i have no clue. i have looked around the admin control panel a ton and have found nothing. if anybody can help please...please! post the solutions here im in desperate need!!

phpBB3 is a poor system. May I recomend MyBB?

Anyway, if you must use it:

1. Under the "General Tab" in the ACP, click on "Board Settings" - you can change your language from in there. You will need to install a language pack, which can be found: here.


2. Ranks - in the ACP, go to "Users and Groups" on the top. When the side menu loads click "Manage Ranks".

2nd the MyBB for forums!! I wasn't impressed with Phpbb# when i was looking for some forums. So, in that I cannot help much, sorry.

You can have support form the software developers site as well.
