| Hey, I am building a site for a guy that belongs to my model RR club, I have the basic's built just waiting for him to get me the text. But I have the link bar, and the top of the page with fill effects, its saved but when i open it with firefox, the fill effects dont show up what is wrong? I am using Microsoft Frontpage, if someone wants to look them selves i will send you the document. Mike |

| As Thaylok mentioned, Frontpage designs sites for IE. Nvu is an excellent alternative, but it hasn't been developed since 2005. You might want to try Kompozer, based on Nvu. KompoZer - Easy web authoring The code it generates is generally clean and cross-browser compatible, as it follows standards.

| I wasn't trying to sound rude, I apologize if it came across that way. (with my first sentence) Hmm, i've not used Kompozer, I've used Quanta Plus, but there are no windows binaries for it that I have found. I'll test it too, and see how well it does |

| I find that the Windows version runs fine. However, IIRC there's no installer included - you just download and unzip the folder and run kompozer.exe.
