Exclamation [SOLVED] FTP & Free Web Hosting Help plz?

Hello i have just recently started working on my very own website with a friend. I am in charge of the html coding while he makes the web comics. We were using geocities for about a week or two but the bandwidth was way to low even to test the site. After searching for multipul hours of a good free web hosting site i have had little luck. Either i don't under stand how to use there FTP programs or its not good enough so could somebody please give me a link to a good free web hosting site that has a easy to use FTP on the site. Also if there is a FTP program that you could give me a link to that would be very helpful THANK YOU I've been having so much trouble.

Using FTP is easy - just like using Windows Explorer. You just browse to the folder on your site where you want your files, then drag and drop them.
For a FTP client, try FileZilla:
FileZilla Homepage - Index
Then, just enter the details your host provides you with in the login boxes.

As for a free host, there are so many out there and are often unreliable. You might find it better for you to start off with paid hosting - no ads, and you don't have to worry about the host going under. But if you want to stick to free, I recommend VP Host - Quality Free and Reseller Hosting - I used them for a while in the past and they were excellent.

Great Webhosting. Shared starting at $2 per month. VPSes starting at $6 per month.

You could try Ej.am Forums or Home : LINUXINVENT.INFO : if you are free to think with your head there is a penguin in your heart. Ej.am requires posting, but it's not that much. Linuxinvent requires an application, but they accept it most of the time.

I would recommend that you use SmartFTP, it has always been great for me and its really simple to use.
