Hey im gonna be getting a domain, i was wondering which is better .co.uk or .com and what is the difference, which one is better?

well, i am all for the correct uses of domain names.

so .co.uk is for companies in the uk, and .com is for USA companies, so i guess whatever applies to you. but anyone even uk companies are able to use USA domains and vice versa, sso its all up to you. .com looks more proffesional though.

If you're aiming towards a UK audience, get both.

If you're not, get .com

.com if you can, .co.uk if it's taken. Or .org. Or .net...

.com is not for USA companies, it just happens to be that not many USA companies use their .us extention. They prefer .com to .us.

This is what I think of domains,
.com & .co.uk = Buisness domains
.net & .org = Fun domains/Skiddie domains
other = other
