Default remove "Application Firewall Alert"

sometimes I try to enter a web site and I get the afore mentioned message.

How do I get rid of this? All they want is money. It makes me suspect.

Thanks
Elise M

Can you tell us more?
Are you using which operating system?
Are you using Symmantec 360? McAfee's suite?
If you are getting it from a web page, it may be nice to keep the firewall up, as something on the page appears (first glance) to be trying to gain access to your computer.... This could be a compromised web site, or just plain malicious.
