Default Norton 360 Installation Help

Hey,
I am trying to install Norton 360 for a friend of mine... and at the moment his laptop has a 90 free day trail on it. So when I try to install the new Norton, it says that it as found an older version that has to be un-installed.

After it un-installs, It says that the latop has to be restarted... when booted back up again, it comes up with the same message again saying that an older version has been found, and needs to be un-installed.

It ends up in a continous loop =/

When I look in Add / remove programs, it says that noron 360 is installed... although I haven't even got to the stage to install it yet.

the laptop is running Vista.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advice,
Jam

I think you should use some registry cleaner s/w for this as sometimes registry is noy updated after instalation and gives error.
