| I have removed 80 Trojan Horses this past weekend. Downloaded MagicIso while I was intoxicated and didnt do my normal procedure of Virus Scanning anything that has been downloaded before opened. I didn't do it and this time I'm paying for it. After removing these 80 Trojans, most are gone, but the computer is running very weird, so I know there's some on there still. I used AVG and Avast, they've helped but not enough. My computer is running very sluggish, pop-ups, and I cannot access certain websites. Such as this forum. I'm at work, so I finally seek assistance. I could easily junk the HD, but I will be left stuck thinking about "How could I have fixed it" and I rather fix it then junk it. Also, the virus disabled many of my abilities such as "Display", Task Manager, and other things. Also, my C drive isn't showing, only E:. It's there, but it's not showing. When I go to the Start menu, the All Programs section is gone. Many things pop up with messages saying it's been disabled by my System Administrator. How do I change it back? Please help, thanks a lot. |

| I have considered that as an option, but was trying to save me the work of that. Also, I don't own the XP Pro CD. I have own a regular XP disc, so it puts me in somewhat of a Jam. There's no folder/files that I need as I save everything to my Slave drive, which I didn't do for the download of MagicIso. |

| Well, it wouldnt be as much work, as spend as uch money trying to fix your hard drive back to new. If you format then eveyrthing would be the same as before. But its your choice. The ideal option here would be to format, but what you do is your own choice.

| I'm probably going to purchase another HD and install my XP on that. The Master HD was 20GB, which was a $150 POS PC mainly used for internet. I'm using this while I gather enough money to make my own PC. Oy, thanks fellow New Jerseyian!!!! |

| Hey xJC, I would reccomed you to this handy website: Trend Micro HouseCall - Free Online Virus and Spyware Scan - Trend Micro UK It will scan youe whole computer for any viruses etc. Which is really useful, as you said, they have disabled many features.. so they could of quite easily disabled youe virus scanners from running right. Once you have removed anything that needs removing using that online program... all should be okayish... Maybe Jam
