Question Browser toolbars

I would like some opinions on which is the best browser toolbar please. I am setting up my new laptop and I had Google toolbar with pop up blocker on my old one. On this one I only have ZoneAlarm Spy Blocker. I like Google but can I have both of them on together? I have IE 6 at the moment but I plan to download IE 7. Win XP Pro OS.

Why not go with Firefox instead?

Why do you need these tool bars? To me they take up viewing space and add more baggage to the system. IE 7 has a search pane in the upper right corner and you can make any search engine the default and the rest secondary.

Well, I like the Google toolbar as it gives me quick access to my Gmail, Google bookmarks and other Google apps I use. I now have my Google bar and the Zone Alarm one as well but I think I will kill the ZA one as you are right about too many of them taking up viewing space! I delete all the MSN links so that cuts down on the size of the header a bit too. Just personal preferences I guess

I have read in a couple of forums (one in this one I think) of problems that people were having with their browsers and it turned out to be a tool bar. If you have any problems you might delete them first to see if that's the fix. Just something to keep in mind.
