Exclamation Virus found lop and JS/Downloader - what does this mean?

I have recently have my avg say "Threat Found - Virus found lop"
and "Threat Found - JS/Downloader"

what does this mean?

It mean's AVG has found something [celebrate that one]

You should consider running Avast instead. I used to use AVG many years ago, until I scanned various PCs with Avast after they had been running AVG, only for me to find many viruses and trojans.

i have been using avast for a couple of weeks now but it hasn't spotted anything only avg spots virus found lop an js/downloader, and My computer go a JS/downloader from this site

use avast.

Don't click on bullshit that tells you lies.

I haven't had an AV running on my main machine for years. Why? because i know what the hell i download.... I also sandbox " stuph " before even checking it out...

Security? sif.

thats right, dont run two virus programs along side each other as they will conflict. Up until very recently I was using AVG but under the advice of ASH (CF OWNER) i tried avast and after installing i did a scan and found that my computer was infact infected and AVG didnt pick up on this at all. So i would advise using avast. I know i will be from now on.
