Any more info?
Which virus'?
Have you gone to other makers (like McAfee and Symmantec) to see about the manual removal?

Try this link, it has a very good and thorough method for removing virus'

Malware Removal and Prevention: Introduction - CastleCopsWiki

It's well worth the reading and learning as you go through this process, that is one thing I like about CastleCops, they strive to inform, not just fix.

Try running a Trend Micro Housecall:
Trend Micro HouseCall - Free Online Virus and Spyware Scan - Trend Micro USA

This goes to show how effective AVG is. You might want to consider uninstalling AVG and installing Avast, and running a boot-time scan.

Yes just as Ash said "You might want to consider uninstalling AVG and installing Avast, and running a boot-time scan" but before you do that you might also wanna turn off your system restore cause virus can reinfect your computer by placing themselves in there. To do this you have to (Right click on my computer --- Left click on Properties ---- Go up to System Restore and Check the turn off System Restore box) Then run a virus scan. Preferably in safe mode.

I suggest getting Avast Home Edition that will get rid of your problems.

i would do exactly as what the guy above me said but also Formatting your hardrive would be your ulimate best choice, dont forget that if you have anything important to back up the files on anything you can becuase once you format it you will never get those files back

Thats the worst advice i have heard for a while now.

Considering most coders inject a small amount of code to infect all past system restores. As well as the new modifications to the latest OS - Vista. its easier! No images to add/edit - straight cache files to hex.

Best thing to do is scan from web scanner or remote box and then clean manually from there.

AV's are useless imo.
