Post QucikHeal Antivirus is it enough

Hello,

I had flooded my computer with 109 trojans and viruses, I don't know where they came from,

Firstly did a complete format and then scanned with McAafee and then loaded a new Quick heal anti virus, but I still kinda feel there are more, cause my system is gone slow. can anybody help me with what should I do more to get rid of them.

Pamela.

You might want to ditch MacaFee for Avast... and do you have any other security software on the system apart from antivirus?

No, apart from that I don't have anything on my PC. How is Avast? and how should we check for good security softwares?

Thanks
Pamela.

avast is a good antivirus, i use it on all of my computers. you may want to look into PC SECURITY TEST 2007 - antivirus / antispyware / antihacking. it should give you an idea as to how well your computer is protected. you may also look into getting free and effective antiwares like AVG antispyware. another good program is Elite Anti Keylogger - Reviews and free Elite Anti Keylogger downloads at Download.com
