XP Pro for my desktop and RHE for the server that hosts my websites. I'm not against Mac, but it's pretty expensive, and that's the biggest reason why I don't own any Mac.

The operating system that I am using currently on my computer is Windows XP Professional Edition along with SP2. I believe it is one of the best operating systems out there. I hear linux and unix are nice as well, but I never have seen a computer with that type of operating system or even used one. Does anyone know if either are good operating systems?

Yes, alot of us have used Linux and Unix, if you take a look through this thread you'll notice "Ubuntu" Linux http://www.ubuntu.com, "Fedora" Linux http://fedora.redhat.com, "Suse" Linux http://novell.com and "Solaris" Unix http://sun.com/solaris , "OSX" is also Unix based on BSD but it is only for macintosh computers http://apple.com/macosx .
