I like XP for compatability
Linux for Customising ability
MAC for reliability.

I use all of the above for various different tasks. But I think If I had to name an all time favourite OS then Windows 2000 would win hands down! With Ubuntu coming a close second

Linux is just a kernel, Ubuntu is a distribution - not a separate OS.
