Be sure to try XP, otherwise you won't see what sort of performance hit Vista is making.

I like Windows XP Home SP2. I did download SP3 and computer is running great.
Windows Xp is easier to use and it does not use all your resource's up

I would have to say that I like Win XP. Although, I have been thinking about looking @ Linux.. Anybody have any suggestions, good or bad, about Linux?

wow guys. i just installed fedora sulfur(fedora 9). it's pretty sweet, runs awesome, and has all the benefits that linux can offer. but i gotta tell you. for a nub, linux has quite the learning curve. especially when alls i wanna do is play games on xp lol

you know, i'm sure if i was used to the terms that are used in linux, it would be so much easier to understand. but when you start talking about kernals, daemons, on top of many things i dont know how to use (yum, and much much more lol) it just gets complicated fast.

Debian Linux Geek- Thanks for the suggestion! I will have to give that a try! And yeah- probably a good idea for me to give it a try. without having to doing anything with partitions.. At least at first! lol

directors cut, install an os, and then an hour later be able to play 5 different games on it. see which one PWNS the rest of them. (xp ftw)
