Default Vista 64 not showing all RAM after BIOS flash {title fixed due to forum rules}

I don't know much about the BIOS despite building a couple of computers but thanks to the people in this forum I finally got the BIOS flashed using a bootable CD. The BIOS now shows 4 gigs of ram but Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit still shows only 2.5 gigs. SiSoftware also shows 2.5. CPU-Z shows the whole 4.

How do I get Windows to recognize and use the 4 gigs that are installed?

Have you tried reinstalling the RAM? Sometimes that will work.

SP1 was installed and a bunch of updates today. I have shut down and reversed the order of the two sticks and still have 2.5 gigs in Windows. See Bank1- Dimm1 in the picture above only shows 512megs. Still shows the same after reversing the sticks. I have read in other posts about memory remapping in the BIOS but I don't see it in mine.

Did you reinstall the Windows OS after you flashed the BIOS?
