Default XP SP2 ADVENT 8117

okay, for about the 90th time im gonna try and install xp on my laptop. Its an advent 8117 with hd audio. It sets up the audio drivers automatically in vista but in xp it doesnt. I have tried to download the hd audio drivers from realtek and this doesnt work. I understand the drivers to be in two parts. The motherboard driver & the realtek drivers. So yeah apparently these are in two parts but no matter what i try i just cannot get these to work. Can anybody shed any light on this for me as I desperatly want to run xp on this laptop and not vista. Any help would be so much appreciated.

oops sorry, should of wrote that a bit better.

the KB888111 should be an update, so you might already have that installed. I think you can check in the updates history? if not maybe the add/remove programs list.. I'm not too sure

Some newer laptops have been Vi$ta brainwashed by force of hand from Micro$haft...

Apparently the hardware is incompatible with XP... The brands that are being infected are Dell Acer IBM HP/Compaq and a few others...

Incompatible with the money they line there pockets with... LOL M$ is accurately trying to buy there expensive O$ into main stream production... Forbes mag said window$ 7 will likely cost upwards of 800,000 Pennies, and a few dimes for tax...

My last Video card I purchased was an ati 3870 x2 1GB and it cost $250.00 it used to be that the hardware was more expensive now the market has flipfloped..
