 Windows 7 Leaked Pictures- Photoshoped? I saw leaked pictures of Windows 7, they looked exactly like vista (even in wikipedia).Do u think they have been photoshoped? It looks like Windows 7 will be Vista release 2 to me, altough microsoft will make windows 7 to have lower hard ware requirements, maybe people using XP can upgrade to 7. What do u think?      |

| Windows 7? Why would MS release another OS so soon after Vista? I know that Vista was released a while ago but as far as OS's go, its a short time. It might be that Vista wasn't as big as MS wanted it to be and thought (yes i am surprised that they can think too) that an OS that doesn't take a top notch gaming rig to run it would be popular among the majority of PC users. Personally, i'm happy with Vista because i have a computer that can run it nicely and i like it.... |

| Vista is a carry over OS , it isint anything amazing , like XP was , it was to battle against Ubuntu's Gusty and the new Mac OS. just like windows 2000 ( and one hell of an OS it was!) in 2008 or 2009 Windows 7 ( if thats is name) will be released , and XP will be phased out completely and the the NT legacy will come to an end. A new legacy will begin , though |

| I doubt very much that you will see windows 7 this year or even next. I would think 2011 maybe 2010 if we are lucky.

| Just a quick note to people who say that windows 7 is rubbish. It is in development at microsofts labs, but does not expect to be ready for sometime. It was rumoured that this was going to be released next year however this is not the case. I do however know that even when vista wasnt realeased yet i.e. Nov-Dec time in 2006 that Microsoft was already working on vista's predecessor. I think its gonna be like a windows me - windows 2000 situation in that there is still not gonna be much of a gap. Lets hope that its better than vista! |

| apparently yes they will be lower than vista. I dont think MS anticipated that a lot of users systems would not be able to run vista because of the high spec requirements. Although if you turn of the eye candy in windows vista you can run it on a lower spec system anyway. |
