| Hi hodgey, Firstly, I'd like to welcome to CompuForums - it's good to have you here. I hope you will be on the board for a long time, and if there is anything I can do to make your experience better please let me know. We are here to help you, so it would be appreciated if you could help us by posting in threads as well as your own. By doing so, you are helping to keep this site running in the future, and we will respond to your thread faster too. But if you can't help us, then we can't help you. I know this is an obvious question - but does your computer have a 64bit processor? It's likley that there is hardware you have that is not 64 bit compatible, but it would be useful if you could describe the error on the blue screen.

| Try the official M$ help on this one. There are quite a few possibilities, and this is just a starting point. http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...e960d1033.mspx Like Ash states, most things point towards hardware incompatibilities. Make sure your system is compatible. |
