| It sounds to me like Linux isn't autodetecting your monitor's resolution and setting it too high. When booting the CD, look for an option named something like 'safe graphics' or VGA. If you only see a "Press [a key] for boot menu", press it.

| OK, well, I loaded with Safe Graphics once, and same problem happened. What happens (in more detail) is the when I choose an option, the screen splits into about 20 smaller portions (each one showing the same screen) then after about 2 minutes, a white box pops up with the error. For my Windows Problem, when the screen divided at the "Welcome" svreen, it still loaded to the desktop. I'm gonna try again Thanks BP
