Default Installing vista on a separate partition
Hi guys

I would like to try vista out, i have got a 100gb hdd, i would like to install it on a separate partition on my hdd, i have got 2gb so that should be ok?

Can anyone help?

No, 2gb is too small. Microsoft's minimum requirement for disc space is at least 15GB of free space for vista. So you might want to expand the partition or buy a small capacity hard drive and set it as slave.

Ya, you should be able to run vista. The partition is big enough, and that is a great amount of RAM for vista. It all depends on your video card and processor on how well you will be able to run vista.

Why not add a slave drive (80GB or more -- they're cheap -- less than $35) and do a clean install with that, rather than using a smaller partition on the same drive?
