Default installing windows XP HELP PLEASE

first i want to start out with my first problem , i just recently installed windows xp on a dell dimension 3000, , with dell bios version Ao2, service tag GDKVR81, if that helps any?, and today i just got my internet hooked up through my local embarq service provider, but yesterday i was screwing around with my display settings , i dont know what i did but it prompted me to restart my computer for the changes to take affect so i did , it went all the way to the windows start screen , it flashes and just stays black i could leave it there , and it would stay like that all night no errors, or anything , its like its at the main screen but i cant see anything , so , i restart it, try to start it in safe mode and all it does is just restart back to the beginning it wont even let me go to any mode, it just restarts every time , so i think now i need to reinstall windows , but now another problem , when i try to reinstall windows it goes through the loading set up files process , and then it says starting windows set up , and then a screen comes up , (1) press enter to install windows etc... (2) press r to repair windows ..... (3) press f3 to cancel i hope iam making sense , so guess what i try to press any button and nothing will work it is like my keyboard is dead , i haft to restart my computer , and go through the same process only to come to the same problem every time PLEASE SOMEONE HELP iaM almost positive it has something to do with the bios settings but iam lost ive tried every thing thank you

Please repost your message with some punctuation - right now it's very hard to read and I couldn't make it past the first couple of lines.

Well - maybe someone else can read it. However, while at school I was taught how to use paragraphs, proper capitalization, and punctuation properly.
By the way, I own this site. Calling me illiterate and telling me to mind my own business may not be the best thing to do

Being rude to the Admin or Moderators even Members of this site is not the way to go ne146t9. Read the RULES about TROLLING/FLAMING/BASHING: and maybe this will not happen again.

for one if you read my 1sst post i dont recall any were in my post me being rude one bit i clearly came to this site to ask for help , and i can see that it is were iam not going to get it, i asked some simple questions about helping me with my computer, i didnt ask anybody to comment on how i decided to write my post or , i didnt ask too grade me on my punctuation, or speeeeellllliiiinnnnggggg,l so i was the one being rude i dont think so you need to check your self , for one i could care less how my paragraphing, or my sentence structure was , for one my computer is totally ▐▐▐▐ed, thats why iam using one of thoose pay as you go internet terminals, you know 1>00$ a minute , so iam not trying to get a grade on my post iam trying to hurry up and cram as much info in as i can so maybe i can get some help, but some people have a ego trip , and it is only clear that my post is readible, if you can only take the time to read it , but never mind ill go some were else , because this place is a joke ▐▐▐▐ off every one that has a comment about my posting i thought this was a forum, not english 101 , if i wanted that i would pay 4 it at the local university

Fine, go elsewhere. I'm sure they will tell you exactly the same thing we have told you unless you change your attitude.

You are a lot more tolerent than I would be when a jerk like that talked to me like that. He/she really has a problem.

Well they need to learn some manners. Until they do they won't get nowhere with their attitude.
