| I was thinking about upgrading my computer to windows vista home premium, but I have an illegal version of office 2003. Being a TEE student with no job, I really only have the money for vista at the moment. so it possible to run an illegal version of Microsoft office 2003 on a legal windows vista? |

| I would wait on upgrading to Vista for it has a lot of bugs in it still and some software like drivers and other things will not work with Vista. So my suggestion is wait about two months to upgrade and see if Microsoft fixes the bugs in Vista. Plus I would not run an illegal version of Microsoft office 2003. I would get a valid copy of it as you may need updates for it and you can not get them with an illegal version of Microsoft office 2003.

| Hi Christon, Firstly welcome to CompuForums, I hope that you can stick around and share your knowledge rather than vanish into thin air once we've given you our advice. For legal reasons we cannot assist with illegal software. I can however suggest a free alternative that should work on Vista: OpenOffice.org: Home However, we do not suggest installing Vista. It has no real benefits over XP, and all the new features included with it can be replicated with [often free] software on XP.
