A recent news headline stated that Google is soon to announce their design of a new Operating System, having with Linux platform.

I can't find anything on the web about it, other than a few forum rumors.

Google neither accepts not denies the news. Does anyone have any concrete info about this? Please post/reply.

Well, I've not heard anything definite, but after reading multiple sources I'd bet that it will be based on Ubuntu, and I'm 99.9% certain that it's going to be Linux-based.

I would have to check it out first, to see if it worked, but even when I found out I would probably not use it, so I voted maybe.
