I am planning to install linux in few days. Can you please tell me which is the best and easy distro so that I can install it?

Why not Fedora or Red Har or Knoppix?

For easy installation i'd go with Ubuntu.
You can't get it any easier.
Hardware support is very good aswell and it's an easy to learn system.
