| RedHat. To me, Linux is a utility, so I want one that I can get the most support documents and paid support (if necessary). I also want to run Linux that software vendors support officially. |

| Ubuntu = Newb, but its cool, however I have to say fedora core, its easy, painless but still has all the monouverability of a real linux distro... Ubuntu just dont have the MySQL packages etc allready built in, I am very excited about the release of Fedora 5 and hope to upgrade my server to it which is currently fedora core 4... |

For me and distros though, Ubuntu has to be the best. |

| I was using Slackware 9 for awhile. I bought a laptop awhile ago and I was going to install Debian, but I couldn't get it to work on my laptop. Fedora Core 4 is very nice and works nicely on my laptop. |

| I was torn between Slackware and SuSE. Those would be the two I`d pick if I could pick two. So I settled for voting for SuSE. In my opinion, SuSE is better for beginning Linux users due to the fact that it`s easier to understand and navigate. Slackware isn`t too difficult either but I hear a lot of newbs saying they don`t understand Slackware and they`re getting fed up with it.
