I have downloaded and burned the latest version of Ubuntu, and I am now installing it onto my old PC.

I will write a review soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

Linux is supposed to have the best hardware support.

I have a Ubuntu live CD, and it's honestly great. I just *love* the feeing of not running any anti-**software. You can just feel it.

True, but it was hardware problem, not installation problems

I don't like how Ubuntu is formatted. I installed Ubuntu, and it was completely screwy. Maybe it was because I had it on my old laptop, but I installed Fedora Core 4 on it, and it's fine. I must admit that Ubuntu has better Hardware Compatibility because it detected my wireless card (made only for windows) and there was no problem. Not so with fedora.

I have 15 Ubuntu disks, once i give one to my mate and he installs it, i will let you know how he gets on, with it. I will probely install it with him.

I must say that I dial boot WinME and Ubuntu. I use Ubuntu as my main OS, though fall back to Windows when I need to
