Okay, I just put the image for 8.04 on the CD and installd Ubuntu. But now there's a problem. I set it so it would dual boot with Windows. If I select Ubuntu on the startup menu, it just tells me to type in some sort of command. WHAT DO I DO NOW?!!?!?!
I may be an experienced webmaster, but I know nothing about Ubuntu.

Okay, that's gone. But every time I load it, it's talking about some kind of error and I have NO IDEA what it means.

If I can't figure this out, I'm about to shatter my tiny CRT monitor. So what do I do after it finishes installing?

Never mind now. Ubuntu is running fine now, with full GUI.

It's only a little slow, but once I reformat, it'll be the faster than a photon in a beam of light. (I like using analogies with elementary particles)
