AMD 2000+ 1.6Ghz
756Mb RAM
ATI CATALYST 256MB G/CARD
STANDARD 5.1 AUDIO
2x 160GB HDD
1x Buffalo Wireless Access Adapter
1x DX440 Epson Printer all in one

I wanted to see which Linux Distro would recognise all of my hardware out of the box without installing any drivers. Especially the Buffallo Adapter and Printer as I dont have the drivers for them. I tried many different distro's i.e. Ubuntu, Suse, Mepis, Debian, Klickit, Mint, Kubuntu, Fedora, Gentoo and knoppix.

None of the above were able to pick everything up. However Mandriva One 2008 picked the whole lot up with no problems.

This is a pointless experiment really but I was just curious as to which would work and was suprised that only one of the tested distros managed it.
