Default Linux

Do you run a distro of Linux? Do you multi-boot? Or do you not have linux at all? Vote now. Tell which distro of Linux you run, if any, or which operating systems do you multi-boot. I personally dual-boot with win xp sp2 and ubuntu 7.04 feisty fawn.

Mod on trial,
Jeremy

Running Ubuntu 7.04 on the main computer. Just got to love the feel of Linux compared to 'winblows'

But you noticed it, didn't you?
That's the point. I -could- make it one or two sizes smaller but...the horror, the fear! should they not see it!

Edit: But you're right. I'll make it a wee bit smaller.

Zeph, what was my typo? When you edit other people's posts for correct spelling, can you please say what you changed?

Also, how do I log on as root in ubuntu 7.04. I need to put these fonts in, but it says I don't have permission.

No huge typo. You had written fun instead of run at one place.

To login as root, use the password you set when installing Ubuntu.
Have a closer look here. How to change the root password in Ubuntu | Ubuntu Linux

I dual boot in XP Pro and Windows Vista Ultimate. I then have Linux Ubuntu 7.04 on seperate 32GB USB pen drive, so I can use it at home, school or internet cafes.

Default Ubuntu user

I'm running Ubuntu with a kernel I compiled myself. I keep XP for my sister and for my mom's mp3_player upload_app. Personally, I would keep Linux only...
