Default red hat 9

Hi, i am trying to install red hat 9 onto my computer,
i have no prior experience with linux but i have always wanted to have a computer with a linux os.

IN my installation process i get to a screen that is half blue half black. It stops installing and says "you may safely reboot your system"

I have tried restarting my computer and it starts the whole installation process again from the start.
What am i supposed to do now? thanks

Be sure to keep an eye on it, and then when it says to reboot the computer, try taking out the install CD first.

Also, did you try booting with the second CD inside instead of the first? It would be good if you could list everything you have tried already.

i have tried that, here is everything i have tried

1. restarting the computer with the same cd in.
2. restarting the computer with no cd in
3.restartin the computer with the second cd in.
4. doing nothing and waiting for another message to come up on the screen.
5. taking the first cd out and putting the second cd in. then waiting.

Also could it be that my computer isnt good enought? i am using a Dell dimension 4100 with about 512mb of ram and a 20gb hard drive.

You might want to check the drive space requirements, but I'm not too sure if RedHat would use up over 20gb.
