I agree with Ash. The School computers are normally best used, and optimized, for school work. Honestly thought I would be hard to bypass any filter, and would just get you into more trouble if you got caught. One thing I found useful was to talk to whoever manages the filter and explain to him/her why you feel that site should be taken off the filter.

Why not have a look into remote desktop?
This way, you are not hacing, bypassing etc. - but none of the internet bans will apply to you. ?

What i did to bypass my schools stingy proxy was to simply set up a tunnel between my laptop at home and the internet. For a tunnel to work, you would need the internet connection/computer to be on otherwise this is the best/easiest way of getting around it. Theres a guide on setting it up here

The thing with the tunnel is, it doesnt actually use the proxy at all. or atleast thats what happened with my one. It connected directly to my home internet so if im right, it shouldnt go through any of your downloads or credit.
