yes i do have limewire but havent used it lately and windows updates is on.
but do u think it could be from playing miniclip and yahoo games and looking at lots of pictures?

You need to make sure that Limewire is not running at all, not even in the system tray. If it is, it will be using your bandwidth.

Yea, make sure it is completely off. No looking at pictures, and playing games from that of miniclips wont havemuch effect. The size of those pictures and games are so small, that it wouldnt make much difference. But as i mentioned before, login to your router by going into the adress bar above and where you type the URL to a site, type in 192.168.0.1 doing this will log you in to your router, there you will beable to see what is going on with your router to see if anything is out of place or not. Also, once you do this, look for a firmware upgrade for netgear.

i always turn off limewire from system tray when i use it.
and also i forgot to add when i look at the pics i save a lot of them. could this be using my downloads?
i tried updating firmware with netgear and didnt need updating.
and i wouldnt know wat to look for in the router login thing. to see if anything is out of place.

Well you wouldnt just se a problem popping out of it, you would need to look. But no, the only thing saving pictures would take up, would be your harddrive space. Thats all.

ok i finally figured out wat it is. i used the process of elimination . first i just let my mum play her yahoo games for one day and i didnt use the internet and it used like 13 mb. then today i looked at just cars and motorbike pictures and it used 287mb and hasnt finished updating. so the end solution is that it was the photos that i was lookin at that was doin it. and they take a hell of alot of downloads. thanks for the help anyway.
