Hey everyone,

ive just purchased a wireless router to use with my AOL (its a thompson router) and laptop has built in wireless, the installation process goes fine until the wireless detection where my laptop doesnt pick up any signal, i tried all the help instructions but to no avail

I was doing a friends once and it didn't detect because it was on a certain channel, look in the manual and try changing the channel, that might work

There could be any number of reasons why this is. 1st I need to know what OS are you running? Also most latops have a way of physically turning off your wirless connection. Check on your laptop of look at your manual if you have one. Go online if you don't to get one.
