Does anyone have any suggestions of why my Belkin N wireless router will not work with my RCA broadband modem? I've replaced with router twice thinking it was problems with the router (advice by Belkin's idiot cus support)

Does the modem have an ethernet port and is this linked to the router's WAN port? Once connected to the router's wireless network, try going to the router's config page [for Belkins, this is usually http://192.168.2.1 ] and seeing if the internet status says "Connected".

Answer Ash's question, and have you also checked for firmware from Belkin?

Firmware updates usually fix known issues or problems and keep your network reliable and secure.

i'm not sure if this has been covered already..(?), but i am finding the belkin software not to be as good as other reuters. is this general consensus? or perhaps just a blip batch?
