| Hi there archie204, Firstly, welcome to CompuForums. I hope that you can visit our forum often in the future and post - rather than just receiving our help and advice, and then never visiting again. We provide our help for free, and all we ask in return is that you participate in our forum and refer your friends, or consider a premium membership. Not giving back to the community once we have helped you is stealing. When you say "internet radio", do you mean an online radio station or an actual wireless radio hardware device?

| Could you provide more detail, such as the manufacturer and model of the device, your ISP, the radio station you are trying to connect to, and what type wireless network you are using [such as it's security settings?]

| Where does this "Port 80 Blocked" message appear - on your computer or the device? Please note that I strongly suggest that you avoid Norton "security" products.

| Also - what sort of encryption, if any are you using on your router? The device can only work with WEP [which is quite insecure, but it's not too bad if you live in a remote location]. Also, the port 80 blocked message may be due to Blueyonder - since they became Virgin Media the standards of service have really fallen. Also, what speed are you on with them? They now have download limits that mean, for example, if you download more than 350mb between 4pm and 12am, they will slow your service down [possibly causing problems using streamed internet radio]. I know this as I've been with Telewest since before they were Telewest [and now Virgin Media], but I doubt that I'll be staying with them for long.

| This sounds like a problem with your Belkin router [I also happen to have one, generally good but sometimes has a few technical glitches]. Try unplugging both your modem and your router from the power for a minute, and plugging them back in [modem first, then the router] and tell us if it worked. If not, there's an easy way to reset the router back to it's default settings and all should be working.

| Also I should mention that it has been working for last 2 weeks but I then unplugged it and it's when I try to reconnect it that I am getting these error messages ________________________ This user added the following: ________________________ Ok have unplugged and now plugged back in. Will try to set radio now Last edited by archie204; 07-21-2007 at 09:30 PM. Reason: Double Post |

| Let us know how it goes. If it's still not going, you may have to ring Virgin Media to check if they have imposed the speed restrictions, which may be the culprit of these problems.
